"I had a shot of Jack": Selena Gomez on her first legal drink since turning 21

 

 

She found fame as a child star on shows such as Barney And Friends and Wizards Of Waverly Place.

 

But Selena Gomez wants the world to know she is all grown up.

 

The singer told Jay Leno on Tuesday her first legal drink since turning 21 was a shot of Jack Daniels whiskey.

 

And how many of those did you have?' asked The Tonight Show host about the number of drinks consumed on her birthday on Monday.

 

'I don't remember,' replied Selena, scrunching up her face before giggling.

 

'Are you hungover today, was it a big party?' he asked.

 

 

'A little bit, it was fun though, it was good,' said Selena, who was promoting her new album Stars Dance. 'I'll have a birthday party this weekend but I had a dinner with my friends, the party's going to be kind of a gypsy theme, I'm excited.'

 

'We're gonna have skirts and tattoos and belly dancers. It'll be kind of the whole thing, It'll be fun.' 

 

The svelte star also revealed her unusual choice of birthday cake.

 

'I love fast food a lot and Jack In The Box tacos are my absolute favourite.,' said Selena.

 

'My friends made me a birthday cake of Jack In The Box tacos with 21 on it,' she said, as a Twiiter picture from the previous night showed her holding the savoury platter. 

 

 

After their dinner at Bagatelle restaurant in West Hollywood on Monday, Selena and her party, which included Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson, hit Beacher’s Madhouse.

 

The group had VIP seats to watch Busty Heart, a well-endowed performer knock down beer cans with her assets.

She may have been a teen princess but Selena Gomez is showing is now a grown up a fashion queen.

 

The 20-year-old has channeled her inner sexy rock chick in a fun and flirty advertising campaign for her new clothing range.

 

The singer is adding designer to her long list of talents with Adidas giving the Disney star her very own line.

Dubbed Neo, the street wear range, which includes shoes and clothing, is aimed at teenage girls.

 

 

Despite the rock chick look designed for teens, Selena made sure to separate herself from her pop princess image.

 

For the advertising campaign Selena wore her voluminous brown locks in a teased messy bedhead style.

 

In one image, the singer pulls her messy hair in front of her face staring down the lens of the camera confidently, looking as if she is ready to head to a rock gig.

 

Making sure to keep her look edgy, the 20-year-old wore dark smoky eyes and smudge pink lipstick over her bee stung lips.

 

For the campaign Selena runs a muck inside a design warehouse climbing up ladders, jumping on couches and rolling on her inspiration sketches while screaming on the floor.

 

While she strikes various poses, the star only models two outfits from her collection.

 

In one, The Come And Get It songstress flashes some serious leg in a pair of tiny denim rolled up studded shorts.

 

Completing the look Selena also dons a pink T-shirt, studded black platform sneakers and, of course, keeping with the rock chick aesthetic a leather jacket.

 

For her second look the Monte Carlo star picked a more covered up outfit wearing black leggings

with stud embellishment and a white T-shirt emblazoned with the words 'Get out there' over which she added a denim vest.

 

 

 The vest is one of Selena's favourites as it is tough but still feminine and 'perfect for a lunch date with friends' she said.

 

The two looks are just a tiny sample of the extensive 53-piece collection which the singer launched in Berlin, Germany on Monday.

 

The Neo range Selena says is about having confidence and fun with you look.

 

 

 

 Launching the line she said: 'I love playing around with fashion and like clothes that are fun, easy to wear and comfortable.

 

'My collection has a rock chic theme and it's confident, rebellious and fun.

 

'It's also a little bit darker and I think it encourages girls to put their own stamp on their individuality and show confidence in what they are wearing.'

It looks as though a reunion between pop stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez could be on the cards - if his Instagram account is anything to go by.

 

The 19-year-old singer took the not-so-subtle move of posting a picture of himself alongside his ex-girlfriend Selena, with the caption '#heartbreaker'.

 

It wasn't long before his legion of female fans identified the girls as Selena, and posted their distress at seeing their idol seemingly off the market once again.

 

Selena goes incognito in the snapshot in a black hood and oversized sunglasses, with her hair falling in front of her face.

 

While the pop star and actress is always going to be highly recognizable, the fact that she has been wearing the tortoiseshell shades regularly recently gave the game away.

 

Adding further fuel to the fire was Justin's friend Alfredo Flores who posted a video on Instagram that  appeared to feature Selena.

 

Alfredo, who was with Justin on the 4th July, posted the video showing him holding a sparkler, then Selena appears briefly before disappearing again.

 

 

Selena's friends have responded in dismay over their apparent reconciliation.

'Selena’s friends have stuck by her through thick and thin, but the whole back-and-forth relationship with Bieber is really starting to wear on then,' a source told RadarOnline.com.

'None of her friends really like Justin, or at least they don't like Selena with Justin,' the source added. 'It's just not a healthy relationship.'

Meet Selena Gomez's Baby Sister

She was over the moon about becoming a big sister, and we can now say Selena's lil sister has now joined as on earth.

While on her Dream Out Loud ( her clothing line with Kmart) photo shoot, Selena received a special visit on the set in the form of her mother, Mandy Cornett, along with Husband Brian Teefey and the new addition to their family little Gracie Elliot Teefey!

According to an eyewitness, Selena "ran out of the studio door as fast as she could when she realized her mother brought the baby... She was so excited to be a sister we can tell!"

Hmm.... lemme see! what else  can I say other than welcome into the world sweet baby Gracie!!!
