Change the record! Jay-Z performs the same song for SIX HOURS straight at art gallery

It is enough to make even his most fervent fans' eyes glaze over.

 

For rap superstar Jay-Z attempted to break into the fickle world of modern art by performing the same song for six hours straight in New York on Wednesday.

 

 

He looked like he was having a ball as staked his claim at being avant garde at the Pace Gallery in New York, with footage of his antics being recorded for a music video.

 

The jolly hip hop mogul revelled in fooling around with crowd members as he repeatedly delivered his forthcoming single, the aptly named Picasso Baby.

 

Of course, such behaviour would have also helped keep the 43-year-old feeling fresh, as even he would have found himself getting a little stale after an hour or two.

Other big names who turned up to cheer the American Gangster favourite included director Judd Apatow, Girls actor Adam Driver, performance artist Marina Abramovic and rapper Wale.

 

It was part of his continuing drive to promote his latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

She bravely revealed in May that she had undergone a double mastectomy and just completed three months of medical procedures.

 

And Angelina Jolie stressed in the poignant article she wrote for the New York Times that she doesn’t ‘feel any less of a woman’ following the preventative surgery.

 

The actress was wonderfully celebrating her body confidence during a trip to Hawaii on Monday.

 

The 38-year-old looked beautiful as she kept cool in a lightweight black silk camisole, which she paired with matching tailored trousers.

 

 

The only sign of her recent surgery were small marks beside the Salt star’s armpits.

 

The marks are perhaps where incisions were made during her reconstructive surgery, which Angelina revealed she had on April 20.

 

 

Angelina was seen on the island of Oahu, taking a stroll through the woods with a film crew while scouting shooting locations.

 

 

The brunette was in her element and wore a stunning smile as she explored the breath-taking landscape.

Amanda Bynes arrived for an appearance at court, sporting a turquoise wig and an outfit more suited for a trip to the gym than to face a judge.( I personally don't think they is anything wrong with dressing comfortably to court, after all there's no rule that says you can't. The 27-year-old actress was pictured outside the Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City, where she is attending a hearing into allegations she tossed a marijuana bong from the window of her 36th floor apartment.

 

Bynes is charged with reckless endangerment and attempted tampering with physical evidence.

She previously attended a court hearing in May, shortly after her arrest, wearing a long blonde wig.

 

The former Nickelodeon was arrested after building officials at her Manhattan apartment called police to complain she was rolling a joint and smoking pot in the lobby.

 

Officers went to her apartment where they say they saw heavy smoke and a bong sitting on the kitchen counter. Prosecutors say she tossed the bong out the window in front of the officers.

 

Bynes was virtually silent during Tuesday's hearing, according to TMZ, and the judge continued the case to August 26.

 

At her arraignment hearing in May, Bynes' attorney Andrew Friedman told the court: 'My client completely denies illegally throwing anything out of her window.'

 

And he claimed she was illegally followed into her apartment by police.

 

Amanda also made a series of allegations on Twitter in the wake of her May arrest, claiming she was sexually assaulted by the arresting officer.

 

She wrote at the time on the micro-blogging website: 'He [the police officer] lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment.

 

Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after her arrest.

A incident report quotes the officer as saying: 'I observed [Amanda] grab said bong, run to the westbound-facing window, and throw it out the window where numerous pedestrians were walking on the 8 Avenue and West 47 Street sidewalks below.'

 

She then said to police: 'It was just a vase,' according to Manhattan assistant district attorney Chikaelo Ibeabuchi.

 

Bynes rose to fame starring in Nickelodeon's All That. She also starred in 2010's Easy A.

But she has been in the news more recently because of several scrapes with the law and bizarre public behavior.
